Anton is a guy that can never really surprise us. He has done so many incredibly unique, amazing and ridiculous feats that we are always excited to hear what he's been up to, but never really surprised when we hear his latest. Take for example the tandem descent of the intimidating Itanda Rapid on the White Nile he did this summer. Sure it had been done before, but never with a non-kayaker in the boat. He styled it. Or his 70'+ descent of the Middle Palguin waterfall in Chile, also in a duo (this time with Steve Fisher). Or his ridiculous stunts at the NRE bar on the White Nile which we don't need to get into here. Anton is also an accomplished freestyle kayaker, having represented his native Sweden in a number of Freestyle World Championships. He's also done many notable expeditions, including the infamous Murchinson section of the White Nile in Northern Uganda, and some big missions in Nepal. What you should get from the above is that Anton is the real deal, an all-around talent in the whitewater world both in his kayak and his beloved dingy (top to bottom on the Nile in a rubber dingy)... he is the type of character that you don't often encounter. Legend.
